2008 Fair results from the Dallas Morning News

The Beal Bank Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair is a science research project competition affilliated with the International Science & Engineering Fair (ISEF). It is open to 7-12th graders from public and private schools in TEA region X who have competed in a school or district fair.

Southern Methodist University

Southern Methodist University sponsors the Dallas Regional Science and Engineering Fair as part of its long-term commitment to excellence in science, engineering and mathematics. SMU has been a sponsor of the Fair since its inception in the 1950s. The university offers an $18,000 scholarship to each of the senior division grand prize winners. Events such as the annual Science Fair give SMU an opportunity to reinforce the importance of learning, experimenting and healthy competition.
