Important Dates/Times for the 2009 Science Fair!
November 14, 2008
Deadline for receipt of all Biological Research Plans and Forms that require approval by Scientific Review Committee (SRC). SRC forms are accepted beginning in September 2008. We strongly urge all students to get their forms in early.
December 12, 2008
Deadline for receipt of all requested revisions of Biological Research Plans and Forms previously submitted to SRC.
February 13, 2009
Midnight deadline for registering online to enter the Beal Bank Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair.
All fees from school or
district science fair coordinators for registered students must be received within 1 week after entry deadline.
February 28, 2009 (Saturday)
52nd Beal Bank Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair at Centennial Hall, Fair Park, Dallas.
Morning - Science Category & Special Award judging
Afternoon - Grand Prize judging (selected projects)
5pm - 6.30pm : Free Public Exhibition & Grand Prize Announcement.
Projects MAY NOT be removed until after public exhibition.Refer to Schedule for detailed timings
March 28-30, 2009
Texas State Science and Engineering Fair to be held in San Antonio, TX. Open to first-, second-, and third-place winners in the Junior and Senior Divisions.
April 16 , 2009 (Thursday)
Beal Bank Dallas Regional Science & Engineering Fair Awards Banquet at SMU, Noon-2pm.
